Συνολικά τείνω να πιστεύσω ότι το μεγαλύτερο μέρος, αν όχι όλο, των δυσκολιών οι οποίες έχουν απασχολήσει τους φιλοσόφους και έχουν παρεμποδίσει το δρόμο τους προς την αλήθεια οφείλονται εξ'ολοκλήρου στους εαυτούς μας. Σαν να έχουμε πρώτα σηκώσει ένα σύννεφο σκόνης και ύστερα να παραπονούμαστε ότι δεν μπορούμε να δούμε.
